Mini Löwen Braunschweig
Interessengemeinschaft für Mini und Mini Cooper
...a tribute to the Mini !!!
Introduction: Mini Löwen Braunschweig.
I had been one of those mystic and foggy nights. Wet and slippery kopplestones reflected the moon and the skyline of Braunschweig. From a distance you could hear the frightening sound of 1275cc engines and the roar of mighty RC40s coming closer. It was the 17th March 1994, St. Patricks Day.
On this particular day the Mini Löwen Braunschweig came together for the first time. Today, a couple of years later, we count more than 40 active members and more than 35 Mini and Mini Cooper. Them not only coming from Braunschweig but also from Hamburg, Berlin, Denmark, Sweden and Holland.
Interested ? Mini Löwen Braunschweig join together at the
R.P. McMurphys Irish Pub
Bültenweg 10
in the heart of Braunschweig
regularly every Sunday from 19:00 ono. Everyone of you is invited to come along.

Problems with German TÜV.
Everybody in Germany knows this particular situation. Youve just bought a decent part for your Mini and now you are afraid to mount it due to the fact that the lad at the TÜV told you that this isnt possible. No problem for us. The Mini Löwen Braunschweig are hold of a vast collection of so called "ABEs" and "Freigaben" and with this we are able to help you at almost any time, ...free of charge of course !!!
Braunschweiger Mini Tage.
Every first weekend in July the Mini Löwen Braunschweig present the Braunschweiger Mini Tage, a meeting especially for Mini and Mini Cooper. Taking a look a back at meetings past, not only Mini enthusiasts from all over Germany were attracted by this event. Until today we have had visitors from Denmark, Sweden, England and America too.
The next Braunschweiger Mini Tage to be coming are going to take place at Räbke, Nord-Elm, just outside of Braunschweig. Please feel to join us on 5th, 6th and 7th July 2001. Our theme is going to remain Irish: Irish beer, Irish breakfast, live music and perfect rainy Irish summer weather.
What is the "German Mini Scene" all about ?
In Germany it has more than 70 Mini clubs being interested in the classic Mini and Mini Cooper. Most clubs consist of 20-30 members being active in visiting Mini meetings throughout Europe. You would like to check out whether there is a club near the region you are living ?
40 Years of Mini - A Celebration at Braunschweigs City Point
In order to celebrate the Minis 40th Birthday the famous shopping mall "City Point Braunschweig" invited its customers to a special exhibition from 24th - 28th August 1999.
Minis in the town centre !!!
It was possible for us taking this opportunity to present ourselves and our Minis throughout the week. On Saturday it was possible for people to come along, ask questions and for us to invite them for further events. Pictures:
At this point we would like to thank City Point Braunschweig, Mini Drive, Block am Ring and Mini Club Braunschweig e.V. for making this possible. It was a great pleasure for us working together with you and making this event turn out to be a big success.
